Start your engines, ready? Vrrrooom and we are off!

6 teams of bloggers compete against each other in the Bosch Amazing Car race, driving all around Singapore to the different game stations to complete the tasks. Two gorgeous motoring enthusiasts Cheryl Tay and Tan Su-anne defeated the other teams with their tacit cooperation, emerging as the champion of the race!

As part of the Bosch Automotive Car Service Month, omy.sg and Bosch Automotive have come together to organize the Bosch Automotive Bloggers Amazing Race, inviting bloggers to come together for a day of fun and games.

Splitting into 6 teams, the bloggers came along with their families and friends, and learnt valuable driving and road tips from the Bosch Car Service experts.

“We take this as an opportunity to spend time with our family.” Blogger Edmund Tay said.

“Our children are also here to cheer us on.” His wife Lu Jiahui added, as their two lively children toyed with the Bosch Uncle Bob stressball happily.

The bloggers set off in the early morning of June 2 at ETHOZ Tampines, moving on to a total of 5 stops at Bosch Car Service workshops and Autobacs outlets. Completely hydrating themselves before driving off, the bloggers are all set out to win the first prize of a 2 days 1 night stay at Resort World Singapore, and a Universal Studios Singapore one day pass.

The teams played 4 different games at the different stations, namely: “iMechanic”, “Draw Something”, “Ready, Camera, Action!” and “Mix and Match”. Each team was graded by the amount of time that they spent on each individual game, the faster they complete the game, the higher points they get!

After almost six hours of games and driving, each team assembled back at ETHOZ Bukit Batok for the prize presentation. Two beautiful motoring enthusiasts Cheryl Tay and Tan Su-anne won the race with 31 points out of a total of 40, and won themselves a relaxing getaway!

“It is really a pleasant surprise, as this is the first time we are teaming up together,” Cheryl, who is a motoring journalist, confessed, “we had always competed against each other in other contests.”

Speaking of their experience throughout the race, the two bubbly ladies started “bickering” about each other’s performance in the games. However, when being asked on whom they will spend the prize with, the duo winked cheekily and said,

“It is a secret who we will spend the night with.”
